Yatseniuk: State budget 2016 to be more complicated than this year's budget
State Budget of Ukraine 2016 will be more complicated because of drop in incomes of the National Bank by UAH 40 billion, abolition of import duties, providing subsidies, and index-linking.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said this at the Finance Ministry board meeting on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The budget of 2016 will be even more complicated than the budget of 2015," Yatsenyuk said.
According to him, this is due to a significant decline in revenues from the National Bank of Ukraine, which is estimated at UAH 40 billion.
Another reason is the abolition of import duties. “It's minus another UAH 17.5 billion,” Yatsenyuk explained.
In addition, the Government is going to expand the subsidy program in 2016. In particular, the Prime Minister said the program of subsidies for the public would be increased in 2016 “by another UAH 20 billion compared to UAH 24 billion in 2015.”
Yatsenyuk also mentioned the expected index-linking of citizens' income.
